Class specific quests

Hello, just a quick post to mention the ever irritable class specific quests. BOOO!! In some class specific quests you get told to run around half of the world (of warcraft lol) and get one item - it's a complete faff but worth it. So basically class specific quests (CSQ if we're getting lazy lol) are quests given by your class trainer - the guy or girl you get all your new spells every 2nd level. i.e. you get your first spells at 2 then 4 and so on. So this lovely Tauren lady is your class trainer, shes the designated hand in for the taurens CSQ:

So what does a CSQ do for you? Well... It basically gives you an item or a spell that only your class can use. For example Warlocks get the ability to summon imps and voidwalkers and hunters get the ability to tame beasts in the game. A Shaman gets the ability to lay down Totems; the first range of Totems you learn is from the Earth Element and later on your get fire, wind and water. Throughout the game you will see giant monolith stones and be asked to make a certain instrument for example a torch or a sapta to see hidden elementals:

The Stone i mentioned :)

The earth elemental too :)

Once finished with doing whatever you were asked to do by your class trainer, the elementals either give you a part of themselves as proof that you spoke to them or they ask you to kill a rogue elemental or certain elemental mobs - causing them some grief (which in theory they could just do it themselves, but theres no fun in that lol). After you have handed in the quest you will be given an earthbound Totem which goes into your inventory, which basically means you can now summon your new Totem. YAY! The first totem you receive is the stoneskin Totem which gives you and your party an armour increase of 95. YAY! So thats basically my bit on class specific quests. If i ever find the time i'll also do a quick warlock levelling experience so you can see the lengths they have to go to, to get the items. Hope you found this part helpful.
Bye for now!

Starting areas and level 1 - 6

YAY! Got the ball rolling! I started off my epic journey in the Red Cloud Mesa :D YAY! It's the beautiful starting area for the Tauren. Each starting area is different for each class unless your a Gnome/Dwarf or a Troll/Orc - they both share the same starting area. Trolls/Orcs share Orgrimmar and Gnomes/Dwarves share Dun Morogh. So here's photos of me getting my first and second quest in the Red Cloud Mesa!

HELLO!!

See it's easier than it looks, haha. Upon my journey I've decided that for every tenth level i'll either put up a video of me hitting the tenth level or a screen print :D So here i am ready to get going. The first quests are straight forward you will NEVER die in a starting area unless you take on more than you can handle, but they're mainly just passive beasts (there are three different colours for each creature. Green: Friendly, Yellow: Passive, Red: Aggressive) the level range is 1 - 5 in these areas, but you shouldn't leave your starting area until your at least level 6. The first quests you get are from Grull Hawkwind and Chief Hawkwind. Grull sends you to go kill some Plainstriders and get their meat and feathers whereas Chief Hawkwind asks you to go find his mother. So there's the first two quests, which are straight forward. The quests you find in your starting area will be simple and in short distance of each other, so it's easy to stack quests and then have one massive quest hand in :D

See you at level 6 for the leaving of Red Cloud Mesa :(

Introduction

Hello! This is my first ever blog - so be kind!
This blog will mainly be about my experiences in World Of Warcraft; leveling and questing - not so much doing the professions - as I'm hopeless at doing them! Unlike my girlfriend who seems to spend more time enhancing her professions than actually playing the game.. pfft. This is in no way telling people how to play the game, because each player, plays completely different to another. There's no two ways of playing Warcraft, every time you play it is completely different to the first. I just wanted to share my experiences and show my way of leveling and if that's any way helpful to someone - then that's just a bonus!
That's the overview of my blog to be, for the most part. However, there will be other posts regarding reviews on certain games for the PS3! So keep a look out for those :)

The WoW character in question (our blog guinea pig) is a Tauren Shaman and I will be taking him from start to finish - so it's a definite long road ahead! (i say finish, what i really mean is until blizzard release another expansion! hah)

I will be doing it ten level's at a time, just showing areas that are quested in - showing certain quests that can be difficult. As a part, I tend to miss out dungeon's, seeing as once you're in a guild there's usually someone in the guild who can make you better gear than you will find in the dungeon's - in my opinion! For a price ;D
The Add On's I will be using: Quest Helper and Auctioneer. You can find them here and many useful class specific add on's - http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addons/default.aspx
These are the only two add on's that I truly use, I've tried Titan bars before and Omen - but they just seem to clog the screen up and are unhelpful to me as I'm not a big raider. When I first started playing WoW there wasn't such things as quest helpers or add on's! Ha

If you have any questions - at all - just leave a comment and i'll do my best to help
Hope to see you on this little journey!
Sam :)
